Hello. Not a busy day today aboard the Carl Vinson. We're still out to sea doing CQ's with the air wing. I can't wait to get home. I heard this line in several movies and I'm beginning to think it's true... "I'm getting too old for this $hit."
Not that I'm getting old. I'm far from that. Although, there is someone (e-hem) that constantly reminds me that I'm "old". Not true. Just because I'm a smidge chronologically advanced than my counterpart doesn't mean the cart has crested the hill and is on the downward slope picking up speed fast. I can't help it if I remember watching the moon landings in the early 70's... or had graduated high school already when Challenger exploded in the skies over Florida.
So stuff a sock in it... preferably a hand knit one made out of the yarn that you are going to spin on your new wheel when it gets delivered. :-)
Good night from somewhere out in the Pacific.
