Greetings from home port. The mighty Carl Vinson has finally tied up at pier Bravo at Naval Station, Bremerton. We had our Thanksgiving dinner tonight. Celebrated a few days late... But, hey, that's how you have to do it sometimes in the Navy. We tried a new recipe for the turkey. Turned out really good but the skin tasted funny. We also had Nannette's famous sausage cornbread stuffing and her also famous sweet potato casserole. Yummy.
Now that I'm home, I can start a few woodworking projects that I've been thinking about. I still have the winding station to finish (gotta pick out a finish from HD). What to do???
I've had my eye on a Ryobi plunge router from Home Depot. Maybe Santa will see that I really need it for some of my upcoming projects. :-) PS.. Santa, that isn't really a hint
Time to go make some coffee. I really missed having a good cup of coffee.
So long from dry land. Until later.............
