I'm getting better. It's only been a few days since my last update.
Well, the saga continues. It is now day 126 into the cruise that never ends. Operation ENDURING UNCERTAINTY has brought us back to the island of Guam for 2 weeks of flight deck resurfacing. After this, it's anyones guess. It's official now that we are going to be on an extended deployment. Our return date is not firm but at least we have a target date. Regular deployments last about 180 days. This one will be roughly 290 days. UGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
Not looking forward to the rest of the cruise. I'd rather be home with Nannette and the kids. Soon, but not soon enough.
