Good morning everyone. It's a rainy Saturday morning here in the Pacific Northwest. I have duty aboard USS Carl Vinson today so I thought I'd catch up a little bit on my blog. Still no luck getting my ftp to upload pics for the blog. I think my password may be #$%@#$-up. Nannette and I were finally able to go out to dinner last week. We went to a steak restaurant called Black Angus. We both had the filet mignon with bleu cheese. It was YUMMY. Prices were fairly reasonable as well. I can't wait to go out on another "date night" with her.
On the woodworking front, I am now in the process of painting the winding station that I built before Operation Enduring Uncertainty. We tried to stain it but the stain came out with a yellow tint and that was unacceptible. So, I put a white base coat on it and Nannette will be sponging on the glazing today while I'm at work. I'm sure it will come out looking fantastic. Maybe I'll get the ftp working so I can post a pic of the finished project.
That's about it for now. Until next time...
