Good evening from the chilly Pacific Northwest. Not much going on but I thought I'd blog anyway. The Christmas shopping is nearly done. I'm counting on the online companies to be able to deliver by Christmas eve. Let's hope they come through.
So, here I sit on USS Carl Vinson on another duty day. So far it's been quiet. (knock on wood).
And speaking of wood...
Nothing new from Santa's workshop. I have plenty of ideas for when I start sawing. Just waiting for the opportunity to fire up the saws again.
Thanksgiving is quickly aproaching. I'm looking forward to spending the long weekend with Nannette and the kids. Bremerton ice rink is offering free ice time (skate rental is minimal) on Friday the 28th. Nice to see there are alternatives to going out and participating in "Black Friday". Saturday, we plan to head down to Portland, Oregon to do some shopping.
