It was just a bit of dumb luck that I even found out about this event. Our neighbors kids spent the night and the youngest had turned on the TV early the next morning. We usually don't turn the TV on during the day so it was a stroke of good luck that I even found out. The "Picnic in the park" concert series at Marymoor Park was advertised on King 5 so I decided to see if tickets were available. To my surprise, lawn seating was only $20 for adults and kids under 12 get in free. What a bargain! So we got the tickets and had a really nice afternoon/evening listening to Pure Prairie League and then Poco. When they did the song "Amie", I walked down to the stage front with Sarah Bear and we were no more then 40 feet away from Craig Fuller and Mike Reilly. It was really great.
I enjoyed PPL more than Poco. The musicianship for both bands was excellent. I just liked PPL music better. Sorry, Poco. Although we weren't allowed to bring cameras into the park, I found some photos of PPL performing earlier this year.

The band "Poco" was on next and they were really good.

Now that I'm basking in the afterglow of the concert, I'm going to get back to working on the loftbed for Emily. I will post pics of the bed when it's done.
